The production decrease has been due mainly to the plant memory, the droughts of previous harvests make the amount of grape low. This fact has been perfectly countered with the high quality that the grape has presented.
During the month of September, we began the grape harvest with the Tempranillo varietal. Just finish it, we dedicated to the Grenache, varietal that we will use to elaborate the Mas del Nen Pell de Ceba.
Once it reaches its optimum maturity point, at the end of September, we continue with the Cabernet, Syrah and Merlot harvest, the three varietals that make up the Mas del Nen Vall Roja.
With the arrival of October we finish the grape Harvest with the unique varietal collected by hand, the Moscatel de Alejandría, used to make our white wine Mas del Nen Vailet.
Constancy and effort are the words that best define this grape harvest, obtaining its best reward when we see the wines finished. We still have to wait a bit because they are still fermenting, but the results promise a lot!!!
